Theodor Adorno
Prologue
When I come to Zagreb, and especially during the Days of Oris, my friends, who were my generation at university, usually ask me: ‘How’s it going, Mimac, where did you say you lived?’ My answer is that I more or less live in Schiphol, Amsterdam airport, and I travel for about six months a year. Otherwise, I live in Rotterdam, but only some hundred metres from Rotterdam airport.
